A Heart Coat of Arms 1 & 2

The quaint spa town of Kalwar is far from the sleepy haven it appears to be at first glance. In the narrow alleys of the ancient Hemlík district and the old monastery, where twelve-year-old Anima attends art classes, strange things are happening. Anima and her friends follow the trails of cracks and broken electrical wires through mysterious underground passages and an ancient book back to the past, attempting to unravel the secrets of the mysterious owner of the Kalwar spas. What lies beneath the mysterious tombstone? How to decode the ancient chronicle's cipher? What is nanopire? And can the monastery be saved, or will it be bought by a mysterious merchant? What mysterious power lurks within the monastery? Is it healing, or is it dangerous? And why is everything shrouded in so much mystery? Playing their part in this unexpected adventure are the Paper Research Institute, swimming with fins, healing springs, a certain Director Lampička, Mrs. Gealová, the mysterious Dr. Janota, a wondrous dragon, and of course, the children... This is the collective edition of a successful magic realist detective story set in the present day. For children aged 9 and up.
