The Angel, Nightmare, Brave Teddy Bear, Kind Elephant and Wild Goose Book

A crocheted dream for the youngest reader. Petra Kubáčková animates her crocheted characters in the microcosm of a child's room, between the feather quilt, mattress, drawer and the floor. The book is appropriate for children as young as one, who already have an understanding of essential life situations and sensations (sleep, joy, fear, food relish, play, etc. and know how to comment on them, often with funny single word expressions. The book reveals that the author is familiar with social work (which she does with children at a Brno oncology clinic). Her figures are delicate and extraordinary, full of mystery, yet full of life and capable of making children to relate.
