Nitka and the Lost Button

Nitka is a brave little girl who is not afraid of anything. When her button rolls away, she sets out to find it and along the way helps everyone in need. Will the elephant, the forest or the river give Nitka advice in return? Will she lose her way in the swamp? Where will the birds take her? It's a good thing she’s brought her sewing kit along, she couldn't do without it on these adventures…

Illustrated by Eva Volfová and written by Tereza Horvathová, this new book is a continuation in style and artwork of the Coffee Foam Cat and Fridolína, Antonína and Little Mína – the illustrations are in embroidery; fabric, sewing and embroidering are a central motif of the narrative.
