Kateřina Klaricová worked at the Museum of Decorative Arts in the 1980s as a photography department specialist, where she prepared exhibitions and authored scholarly publications on photography, including works on František Drtikol. Following the political changes in 1989, she took on the role of cultural section manager at the presidential office. In 1992, she opened a teahouse in Prague's Celetná Street, and later, another in the Náprstkovo Museum, which she established as new, unconventional cultural centers. She is a writer of poetry, short stories, and fairy tales.
