Sylva Fischerová

A prose and essay writer, children's book author and, especially, one of the most remarkable Czech poets of her generation. Her poetry was translated into a number of languages, published as a book in English, and was set to music by the singer Monika Načeva. Sylva Fischerová studied classical philology and has worked at the Institute of Greek and Latin Studies at FF UK. She lives in Prague.
