Frank Tashlin

*1913, †1972, New Jersey.
Animator, screenplay writer and director.
Began his career as a messenger for a small New York film studio, later left for Hollywood where he worked for Disney Studios, Warner Bros. and Screen Games.
From 1945 he wrote comic screenplays and gags to order (Marx Brothers, Bob Hope) and later began to direct.
He wrote and illustrated four books for children.
