Dora Dutková, Jiří Bilbo Reidinger / Circus Chauve

Jiří Bilbo Reidinger, known especially as a clown, the author of many shows, a street actor and also as a choreographer and teacher, created this children's book, which is founded on his own experiences. It is filled with delicate and unpretentious humour, depicting the mishaps of a family of clowns: the clown Bilbo, his wife Josefína Bilbová and their daughters Bárbila and Týnbila are accompanied on their journeys by various animals, ranging from the duck Bilboy all the way to the flea Násosbila.

Jiří Bilbo Reidinger writes in the way that his thoughts come to him. His clown stories, with an actor's flair, create a great starting point for the illustrator Dora Dutková. She has assembled a remarkable series of clown images and diary-cartoons, which is a great accompaniment for Bilbo's stage show.
