Daisy Mrázková / Primeval Auto

In her short stories, Daisy Mrázková tells children that the world can be understood by ordinary little things see in the forest, on a meadow or in the garden but to so one must look at them in the right way. To observe, think and (re)cognize can be done only by looking closely, and to peer under the tree bark, to learn what is what, to indentify fragrances, to see the falling dusk, in a word to live a great adventure, one must be a like little dormouse whom his mother allowed to go outside just by himself for the first time. Only this way, by being on his own, look around and sense the dangers, or to begin to understand love, to shiver when seeing beauty or something just perfect, to question things for the first time, can one really know… Books by Daisy Mrázková lead the young readers gently and delicately to the most important questions of human existence.
