Alžběta Skálová

* 1982 in Prague
She studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague. She works with illustration, especially for children, but also with graphics and she creates objects and textile toys. Together with Alžběta Zemanová and Martina Kupsová they established NAPOLI and are involved with creating authorial books and the merging of design and independent work. In 2008, she received the Josef Hlávka Award and the Magnesia Litera for the book Pampe and Šinka. She lives and works in Prague and also in the country.
